Veterinary Clinical Pathologist – Melbourne/Sydney

 

 
Gribbles Veterinary Pathology provides exceptional pathology services in the veterinary and animal care industry across Australia and New Zealand. Gribbles currently employs over 20 veterinary pathologists across the two countries. We pride ourselves in bringing to the market new innovative tests. Recently we have established new Australian laboratories in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
We are seeking a veterinary clinical pathologist, Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (Clinical Pathology) or equivalent, with excellent diagnostic skills. Principle responsibilities for the position include haematology, clinical chemistry and cytology reporting. Gribbles Veterinary pathologists have a close working relationship with medical pathologists collocated on the same site and often discuss cases. You will be part of team who prides themselves in the provision of excellent timely diagnostic test results.

In this role you will be required to provide interpretations of laboratory results to veterinarians and provide scientific support to the laboratory staff. You will oversee validation studies and provide training for scientists and technical staff.

Welcome  to our New Veterinary Pathologist


We are delighted to announce that Liz McInnes has joined the team at Gribbles Veterinary Pathology as Veterinary Toxicology Pathologist. She will be based at our Glenside laboratory. Liz McInnes has 10 years of experience in toxicological pathology and has a special interest in immunology, cross reactivity studies and pathology artefacts.

We wish to welcome Liz to the Gribbles Veterinary team and wish her every success in his new role.

Our New Profiles 

We are pleased to announce that in response to feedback we have added some new profiles to our existing range. Some of the new profiles include Annual Health Profile (canine/feline), Geriatric Profile(canine/feline) and Sick dog/Cat Profiles.  Refer to Canine Profiles  and Feline Profiles brochures for more information the the profiles.

For our Equine Practitioners we have added calcium and magnesium  to the Equine Racing Profile. Further details can be found on the Equine Profiles brochure.
