Caroline graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1995 at the University of Edinburgh and initially worked in mixed and small animal practices for some years.
Caroline undertook a residency training program in veterinary clinical pathology at The Royal Veterinary College, University of London. During her residency, Caroline consolidated her knowledge by working at the Animal Health Trust (a referral hospital and laboratory), Compton Paddock Laboratories and Vetlab (both commercial laboratories) and Veterinary Laboratories Agency (a government laboratory).
Caroline joined Gribbles in 2006 and is based in Melbourne. Caroline is experienced in clinical pathology of a wide range of species from farm and equine animals to companion and exotic pets. She has extensive experience in all areas of clinical pathology including haematology, cytology and the interpretation of biochemistry and endocrinology testing.
Caroline runs cytology and haematology day workshops for veterinarians. These are intensive and fun hands-on sessions utilising microscopy cases with lots of discussion.
