Veterinary Pathologist


Christine completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2002 at the University of Queensland, graduating first in her class and receiving the University Medal. She worked in mixed practice in north-western Victoria and small animal practice before joining Gribbles in 2004 as an Intern Veterinary Pathologist. In 2001, she spent several months at Cornell University in the Student Leadership program. Prior to veterinary studies, she completed a Bachelor of Biological Sciences with a major in marine biology at James Cook University in 1997.

Christine regularly presents cases at the Australian Society of Veterinary Pathologists annual conference and regional pathology meetings. In 2003, she presented the findings of student surveys at the University of Queensland to the annual conference of the Australian Veterinary Association. 

Christine successfully passed the membership exams for the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in 2006. She is currently completing a Master of Veterinary Studies at the University of Melbourne, with expected completion in 2007. Her areas of interest include the pathology of fish and other aquatic animals, wildlife and infectious diseases.
